Internships
Students are required to complete an internship as a way to gain professional experience in a news organization in China. Top students will be selected for an overseas internship at a financial and/or business media organization. An internship report is required with a minimum of 1000 words in English. And students should get a letter with official stamp from the organization or company which can verify the internship.
Academic Activities
Students are required to attend at least 10 academic activities, such as lectures, work-shops, etc. with your supervisor’s approval. You need to submit a summary of 500 words for each activity with your supervisor’s signature.
Non-credit Requirements *
Student may elect to complete either a formal academic dissertation or a professional journalism portfolio.
